Volunteering at VNHSC

Volunteers contribute significantly to the operation of our agency and assist in many areas. Some volunteers choose to work with patients and families, providing caregivers respite and individual patient support services. Others choose to assist with special events, clerical support, Meals on Wheels and fundraising efforts. Our volunteers are motivated by their dedication to the agency philosophy and by their compassion for patients, families and the communities we serve.

How do I begin the volunteer process?

All prospective volunteers are personally interviewed by the Volunteer Coordinator who listens for ways in which the individual's special talents may be best utilized.  References and a background check are part of the routine application process.
