Nursing

Our nurses are dedicated, caring and knowledgeable professionals. Nurses collaborate with the patient’s doctor to develop a plan of care that is tailored to meet the patient’s needs. Our nurses continue to partner with the patient’s physician throughout their course of care.

• Monitor a patient’s vital signs, medication and special diets
• Provide care and teaching that controls the impact of chronic disease such as diabetes, respiratory disease and heart disease
• Provide care and help resolve the complications caused by wounds
• Teach patients how to care for and manage diabetes, stroke, heart and respiratory condition, ostomies and catheters
• Arrange consultation with other members of the home healthcare team: physical, occupational and speech therapists and medical social workers
