Annual Appeal
From humble beginnings nearly 100 years ago, to our emergence today as the leader in home health and hospice care, Visiting Nurse & Health Services of Connecticut (VNHSC) has established a reputation of innovative, compassionate care and service excellence. Being a local presence is the cornerstone of our tradition of service. Today our presence continues to be of great importance to the well-being of individuals and, at times, the entire family.
Years ago, routine hospital stays were much longer. Today, it is not uncommon for a patient to be discharged only hours after a procedure. As technology has progressed and equipment has become more portable, an incredible array of therapies take place where patients feel more comfortable, heal faster and prefer to be, at home!
With a strong tradition of care and concern for people of all ages, all races, all backgrounds, we offer a service that people have come to trust. These excerpts come from our patient satisfaction surveys, provided to all of our families.
"I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful care that my mom received. This was such a difficult time and all of the nurses and home health aides were so kind, compassionate and loving to my mom and her family." - Grateful Patient, South Windsor
"There is not one hospice team member, from aides on up that I would not welcome into my home again. A wonderful organization that honored both of my parent's wishes. Thank you so much." - Grateful Patient, Manchester
We have grateful patients because of our generous donors and sincerely appreciate the generosity you have shown in previous years. Your gift of $50, $100, $250, $500 or more will allow us to continue offering the highest standard of care that our community has grown to expect.
Thank you in advance for your support that has enabled us to give excellent care to our patients and families for nearly a century.
Sincerely,
Todd Rose, MBA, President/CEO
